Henstrom Generator is a family tradition that started more than 40 years ago in a home on 4th East in Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1968 the Henstroms built the current building on 33rd South, and the family employees consisted of the father, Golden Henstrom, and his three sons: Thomas, Jon R. and Scott. Together they build a reputation of quality electrical parts and good old fashioned service.

Over the next two decades there were several changes in management, and in 1990 one son, Jon R., and his wife Marsha purchased the outstanding shares of the company and continued with business as usual until 2007. In November of 2007 the Lafeen Group, consisting of three brothers; Jeff, Scott, and Phil, along with one son, Justin, offered to buy the business upon the retirement of the Henstroms.

As a family-owned business, our commitment to quality remains the same as the Henstrom Family, and we will continue to provide honest and reliable electrical service to all our current and future customers. We are also able to provide services across the Wasatch front through our Partners and Affiliates.
